DPSS have recently completed the installation of 72 High Bay lights and new Distribution Board at a brand new Warehouse in Heathrow, London.
All cables, CMS, Bracketry & Lights were installed on time and within budget for the client., glanding, terminating & testing completed too.
Our lead Level 4 Electrician, City & Guilds 2396 Design & Verification qualified & BTEC Level 4 HNC Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment, desiged the contactors layouts and lighting circuits for the client. A new DB was also installed to support the lighting circuits.
The guys at DPSS have enjoyed working on a different project during the COVID-19 Pandemic. To ensure their safety they have their temperature taken before starting on site and wear masks to protect themselves and others.
DPSS have been very busy in the office putting tenders and prices together for future works, some of the works we have been doing out on site are as follows:

- Walthamstow Central CCTV upgrade works
- Firstco Greenwich Power Station installation works
- Cubic SC3 Ticket machine upgrade works
- Fit for the Future ticket hall works

Project Title: Next Train Indicators
Sites: Southfields, Wimbledon Park, Putney Bridge, West Brompton & Seven Sisters
Client: Station Works Improvement Program & TFL
Duration: November 2014 to May 2015
Description: DPSS surveyed all 5 sites and carried out Structural Assessments prior to producing a Conceptual Design Specification document for LUL Asset Engineers Approval. A Total of 7 NTIs were installed across 5 platforms and 2 Concourse Areas on Posts or Brackets. Power and Communication cables were run and associated CMS where required.
DPSS carried out “Trial Fits” of the units on Seven Sisters Platform 4 to ensue that the proposed location did not interfere with the Train Drivers OPO Camera Views.
All cables were terminated and tested and information provided to TFL to allow the NOWRI to be passed and to allow bringing into service.
DPSS have been removing the one person operation mirrors at Wembley Central, these were used by drivers to check all passengers had boarded the train safely. Nowadays train drivers have cameras and monitors to do the job.
Once the mirror had been safely removed we set about covering the gap with a replacement concrete slab.
