DPSS Cabling Services gained accreditation to BS EN ISO 9000:1994 in May 1998 for the following scope:

“Design, survey, installation of cabling and associated route works that include: Electrical systems, network systems for voice/data transmission, copper and optical fibre cabling within the railway, commercial, public and private sectors”.

In January 2002 BSI carried out a Management System Assessment. It was commented that “DPSS demonstrate a well operated and controlled documented quality management system, with a positive attitude toward the transition to ISO 9001:2000. DPSS completed the transition in February 2003.

DPSS is currently accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

Environmental

We are also accredited to ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System. Our scope of certification is: “Supply design and installation of cable, cable management, equipment and minor civil engineering activities for the communication and power environment within the rail industry”.

Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme

DPSS has also satisfied the pre requisite for Network Rail RISQS scheme – previously Link-Up – (ID number: 93273) in the following areas:

• Signal Post Telephone Schemes
• Cable Route Works Minor Civil Engineering (<£3.5m)
• Electrical Building Services
• Cable Supply and Laying
• LAN & WAN Equipment & Services – LAN Cabling

There are close to 80 of the major rail companies throughout the UK that support the RISQS scheme.

 

 Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme

DPSS Cabling Services has been assessed and has met the Bronze level requirements for FORS.
