First Aid Training

Becky & Martyn of DPSS Cabling Services undertook their First Aid at Work Training yesterday.

They both enjoyed learning about CPR and First Aid. They have learnt skills they can use not only in the workplace but at home too.

Here are some Photos of the day….

Hillingdon Council has approved plans for the redevelopment of Hayes & Harlington Station for Crossrail.

The new station will be built north of the existing station by Taylor Woodrow.

The redevelopment will include a new footbridge and four lifts, a waiting room, platform extensions and a new canopy.

Work at Hayes & Harlington Station is due to start in Spring and it is expected to last 18 months.

Transport for London will run the new station when it has been built until Crossrail take over in 2019.

This is right on our doorstep, our office used to be in Hayes before we moved to Uxbridge, very exciting stuff.

UK Construction has seen the sharpest jump in the number of new orders in February since October 2014.

The steeper rates of increase were seen in Residential, Commercial and Civil Engineering. Residential activity saw the steepest rate of growth.

Construction companies have linked their new orders to the improving economic conditions and a positive outlook in business. However, some spending decisions have been delayed due to the uncertainty in the outcome of the upcoming General Election.
